hi guys,

could anyone please let me know on the correct suction & discharge pressure of a spectrum sl at 20C & 0C??? is it around 50 - 55psi & 280 - 290 psi accordingly for 0C??? if yes, what about 20C??

thanks in advance

depends on ambient temp.

Suction pressure is limited by throttling valve and therefore discharge pressure MAY not conform to what is normally expected for variable ambient temperatures. The throttling valve is incorporated to prevent overloading the electric motor (if a 50 spec).
Acceptable discharge pressure at -18ºC box is approx 19Bar, and suction approx 0.9 to 1.25Bar. As with any refrigeration system, ensure the refrigerant charge is correct before system analysis.
