I have just finished my nvq2 and wondered is it worth doing the nvq3 and what is involved in the nvq3?

Cheers

.

The level II is the bare minimum that companies like you to have
if you are going to be employed by them, but it is a supervised qualification.
The Level III is the qualification that allows you to work unsupervised, so in the industry
to be deemed competent to work unsupervised you need to hold a level III.

If you have the opportunity go for the level III, you can never know too much.

The level II is all about single systems, the level III concentrates on multiple,
complex systems so the level of knowledge is higher.

The science is to a higher level also, so you will be expected to be able
calculate heat loads, mass flow, pressures and such like at a higher level.
