Sanyo P12 fault

Hi there
I have P12 fault on Sanyo unit.
I know the fault code description is fan motor
fault but was wondering if there are checks I can
do or if it's just worth changing motor and or PCB.

i had a sanyo paci unit alarming on p12 - its a dc fan motor- if u spin the motor slowly by hand then start it up- it runs, if you stop the fan- then it wont start- i swapped the indoor pcb with another unit- to determin if its fan or pcb and it turned out it was the pcb- so the board room unit doesnt run! haha- is your faulty unit in preston by any chance??- as the tight f**kers wouldnt accept the price for a new pcb!

I've had a few units with this fault and they have all been faulty PCB's.

you'd expect the fault to be the fan as theres more chance of that failing but everytime its the pcb
