Hi
how r u guys
i found these terms on the compressor terminal cover (U V W) beside
the S Start R Runing C Common terms

what are their meaning

Not sure about on a single phase motor but with three phase they are just the standard terms used for them.

Line 1 U (Red)
Line 2 V (Yellow)
Line 3 W (Blue)

If used correctly from the power station down to the motor maker then the motor rotation will be correct every time it is wired in.

Uvw are the designations for the windings in a three phase motor, this compressor maker probably uses the same shell for single phase or three phase
