Does anyone know what type of compressor fits into this unit?

TK 208R. There isn't a locally sourced replacement that I'm aware of.
I try and run the other way when I see a CD unit

these units were withdrawn/removed by TK from Australia and all scrapped

I wish we were so lucky. Rivals the 422 for the worst belt setup ever.

just check with Myriadparts (http://www.myriadparts.com/index.php?route=common/home) about £500 cheaper!

cad take the comp off and compare it to a tm16 or a tm21 i would think 16 would be sufficent

Looking that way,but someone has quoted a grand to do the job so it looks like it's over to them? Reading between the lines I wonder if it's the compressor unless they have a second h a nd one

If you can find an old CD1 with the Tm16 on it you can use the brackets and pipes to convert back to CD1 spec. Much cheaper.

Oh yeah i remember doin those conversions to the seltec compressor with cast manifold ORS fitting, where some hamfisted engineers used to overtighten the pipes with 'o'rings on and collapse the lip so it does,nt seal properly hah, hah.
