I'm looking to buy an ice maker, and Man! they really don't come cheap, do they?!

I'm still not sure though which type to buy. According to this article (http://www.icemakerreviews.org/how-to-select-the-best-ice-maker/) I found, the first thing to consider is energy efficiancy and the cost of the unit.

So, I was wondering if anyone could give me a suggestion or two, 'cause I don't know a thing about those things. I do know however, that the friend of mine recently bought his, and wasn't very satisfied with the energy it just 'ate'. He's not even using it anymore.

Thanks

Quality is what you are looking for.

After you decide what you want, try picking it up at a restaurant auction. You will get it for a fraction of the cost. Have somebody who is qualified inspect it for you or you may regret it.
