Toshiba Warranty

Does anyone know the standard warranty given with Toshiba Wall Splits. Normally Use Daikin & LG which are 3 years but have a customer who wants Toshiba which falls nicely between the above two for price. ??

There's several answers to your question and it really depends on where the kit was (is) bought from.

Toshiba's biggest distributor - HRP - have bought out the warranty on Toshiba systems and offer a 3yr partsand labour allowance. This they say is offered to the installer - it doesn't stay with the kit if someone else takes over the maintenance. Alledgedly anyway.

All other distributors offer three year parts and labour allowance. Administered ultimately by Toshiba.

Some direct accounts with Toshiba get 5yrs. But that's if they conitue to maintain the system or it reverts back to 3yrs.

All are subject to regular servicing.
