My query is regarding the suction and discharge valve plates used in S6F-30.2 2 stage semi hermetic reciprocating compressors. Is there a recommended lifespan of these valves? Should they be changed after a given amount of time or service hours and if so do you have a recommendation? Or can these valves last indefinitely with proper care and the use of predictive maintenance, thermal imaging and ultrasound in this case? Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.
