Does anyone know - What is this resistor? It is located across the "HIGH" and "LOW" condenser fan terminals. 11065

It's a bleed resistor.

I agree with piewie,
a bleed resistor from a capacitor probably.
I do not like the field wiring terminations as per pic, a potential hot spot and burnt out terminal, try using those crimp things called boot lace crimps here.

I thought a bleed resistor would be to the NEUT terminal? No?

There is another band between the two black and the brown on the right. I can't get the colour of it from the photo though.

It looks like 1, 0, 0, ?? (Band unreadable), 1% or 5% tolerance (Cant tell if brown or gold)

Yes - it's like that.

The value is 1,0,0, x10k, 1%.
