I recently went to maintain a Daikin Indoor unit, model number: FHYC100FJV1 on the remote the was a fault code flashing. fault code: A7. Unfortunatley i do not have the correct book to find out what this fault code is could somebody please help me. cheers

An A7 fault will not stop the system from operating but will flash as a fault.
You can also get this error if you forget to connect the wires between the grille and cassette.(the little push clip)

I once got this fault when the interconnect was wrong on a 10kw wall mount..wierd eh?

Very Wierd Richard.

I assume it was only the comms and neutral that was incorrect. Normally if this was the case then you wouldn't even get a display on the controller

indeed it was and everything worked apart from a7 -which I thought was strange as the flap worked !

I re-wired it and it all worked..??

just thought i would point out as well, that you should test the louvre's in fan only mode, as they will only operate in a thermostat on condition in cooling/heating. Also on old school units sky air series C and D if the louvre motor failed it would hold off the cooling/heating! only way round about it is to replace the motor.

Hey since you guys have had Diakin over there much longer then us over here what do you think of it and where does it rate compared Mitsubishi, Sanyo, trane etc etc
