i want to build a small blast freezer. i am wondering if you could help me to work out the system size. my blast freezer size is 2.5m x 1.2m x 2.1m. thank you.

note: in each cycle i want to freeze some products which weigh around 100kg. i also want to bring the temprature of the product from 85 degrees celcius to -20.

thank you.

Best thing is to talk to your favourite wholesalers technical guy and get them to do the calculations and equipment selection.

It is often surprising how much these types of systems cost.

You will have to let the product cool quite a bit before putting it in the blast. 85 is too much.

blast freezers are designed to chill an 85 deg bowl of soup - or bucket of soup to below 4 deg within its 90 min run time- did a pot change once and the prick with the pointy white hat that stunk of booze too great pride in sticking a bucket of steam in there to test it !!!- all i wanted was me f ing paperwork signing!:p
