I have done 5 years with an RAC company in the south east / london area doing service on splits, VRV, VRF, cold rooms etc - my company are keeping me on apprentise wages and i need to get a new job. is it worth me registering with a recruitment agency, ive heard good things and bad from other engineers - if so which one should i speak with.

any thoughts?

HI Adamsou24,

Most agencies have websites with the current vacancies on them, you could register or just keep looking. Obviously this site has a jobs section have you looked there.

Most companies start looking this time of year ready for summer, can you let us know where in the south east you are and someone might be able to steer you in the right direction

if you are still on 'apprentice wages' after 5 years maybe there's a good reason..?

cheers

Hello,

I was thinking that only here bosses "forgot" to promote people...it seems tha virus is spread all around:(

With your expirience there must be some better job for you.

You are forgotten man, quit ASAP.

If the bosses do not get promoted, there is no where to go to. :D

A common problem everywhere.

You can only move into a " space" if its vacant.
Saying this, after 5 years......and still on appy pay, is not right.

At least you should now be paid the qualified tech rate
