Just a quick one chaps. I have to decommission a daikin vrv3 system next week, need to remove all gas. Are the instructions for forcing open all the valves on the bs boxes in the outdoor unit and easy to understand? If not, can somebody give some pointers on how to do it? I don't know the model number but i do know it is only a couple of years old.

Cheers

Andy

Ta very much chaps.
On the subject of schrader core depressors, do not attempt to change a lp pressure transducer on a MHI with the gas in - they don't have schraders:mad:

Setting 21 .. On outdoor pcb main , hold mode button for around 5/6 seconds untill it gos solid then press set button 21 times , then return button once hp7 will flash , press set once , 6 will flash , then return twice , leaving only mode 1 solid , this is now in refrigerant recovery mode

Always better to put setting 21 in for recovering , pressure testing and charging

When doing it on 407 systems indoors to be turned off first
