How many pounds of ammonia vapor at -30f would this suction line contain? the ammonia suction line has been calculated to have a volume of 7 cubic feet. I came up with 30.1 pounds

the specific volume of ammonia vapour at -35' C approx. -30' F = 1.213 metre cubed per Kg. or 19.4 cuft per pound. 7 cubic feet 0.36 lbs,

Hi Josip.
7 cubic feet of ammonia vapour in a slight vacuum, will not weight 36lbs. Ammonia is lighter than air at atmospheric
