Hello All
What an awesome site.
I have a secondary glycol system in a supermarket that has a small leak. We are unable to trace the leak as the glycol is transparent, is there any way of adding some sort of dye into the system?

Hello Terry and welcome to the forum.
Have a look here (http://www.spectroline.com/content/fluorescent-dyes-industrial) for food grade dyes which can be added to your water/glycol circuit.
They have a distributor in Johannesburg (http://www.spectroline.com/content/international-industrial-distributors)

You can also pull samples of the condensate drain water and put it under a Refractometer. This way you can find the circuit that is leaking, then go case to case.
Good Luck.

Expensive stuff that Frank
Especially if its a large system, chuck in some drain tracing dye and you will find it.

We have managed to find the leak...yeah!
I will be looking into purchasing dye as the system is large and I wouldn't want to run around as before.
Thanks for all the input
