2 looks like a solonoid coil which allows air to fresh air damper
1 is a gauge the s bit- dunno about the 0 and 1

2 is either a EP relay,pe relay, reversing relay or min postioning relay

What about number 3

no3 would have to be a pneumatic ram- for driving open the damper within the duct
no4 would be a valve to regulate the heating or cooling coil demand- would recommend a 3 port valve as opposed to a 2 port:rolleyes:

Hi,
Let me try to approach this system.
No 5 is the controller and receives the supply air pressure in M.
Inside there is an air pressure regulator which keeps the air pressure at a certain level. Let’s assume 15PSI.
This pressure is modulating by the transmitter (air temperature sensor) (1)
If the temperature in duct is high then transmitter is not relief air in atmosphere so the Branch (B) pressure is remaining at 15PSI and fully open the cold water valve (4).
While the dampers are in RA position the air in duct starts dropping and the transmitter starts to relief air in the atmosphere and branch pressure is dropping so the cold water valve is start closing.
Let’s assume that air set point equals to 5 PSI brunch pressure.
So when the brunch pressure drops to 8 PSI then the other device which receives also supply air pressure starts regulate this air supply to open the damper actuator via a solenoid valve which operates in parallel with fan motor command.
Let’s assume brunch pressure 8 PSI = 0% fresh air and 3 PSI = 100% fresh air.
Still I don’t understand what is port 2 in controller.
Hope it was not complicated not wrong!!
Regards,
CV
