Hi Guys.
One growth area within the food sector anyways, is the Installation of Ammonia systems.
Does anyone know of similar with CO2?

Just wondering only I have not heard of any?
I am just trying to gauge whether it is still growing in use?
Or to use a pun, "Have things gone off the Boil"? ;)

Hi.

A couple of years back I was working on a few CO2 chillers for a company which did cooling systems for the trading floors and server rooms. And I only know of one distribution centre that has ammonia CO2 cascade system. Not heard much more progression on CO2 systems if I'm honest.

This year one NH3/CO2 plant is installed here in my country for one fish factory freezing tunnel what is reasonable ... wasn't there so I do not know about plant details ... it must be JCI-Sabroe unit

Another one (being there) were installed in Nestle Moscow in 2007. year, for huge ice cream store room ... little strange ... because production line i.e. hardening tunnels are on ammonia ... in another hand maybe not .... have not new info about that plant ... i.e. energy savings or product quality, pitty;)

Not heard about new project/s with CO2 ....

Ammonia is again on climbing path ... what is very good for sure ...

Best regards, Josip :)
