Hi RE

I have just recieved an compressor (SECOP BD1.4 VSD) for a project, and i noticed that the 3D drawing of the discharge line does not fit the actual compressors discharge line, we had already ordered some of the pipes that was to be used and therefor i wanted to know if I was able to bend the discharge line so that it would look more like the 3D model.

If we're not able to bend it, there will not be enough room for the discharge line.
I am fairly new to the whole refrigeration field and therefor lack the practical knowhow of what your able to do.

Best regards

Woot

It is not possible.

As you can see from this photo, discharge line is right one, and there is not enough length to bend it, even if it was made of copper (which is not).

You need to bend pipe after the weld.

But look at this picture from the 3D model, i think this looks possible, and why else make this in there own drawing, but i may of course be wrong.

get a big shifter ( adjustable wrench) pref over 300mm long as the jaws are deeper- you then can persuede it but not much as it will kink

That connection is made of steel pipe and cannot be bended without damage:

its 10mm diameter- you can bend it upto 20degrees but it takes monkey power to do it!

I contacted the supplier directly, and they said that it would be no problem if we bended it, but it would take a lot power :)
So it is plausibe, and also withou making any damage, you just have to be careful .

Check and tight the valves of compressor and apply normal mode of power supply. You can check the power consumption and add with voltage supplies to compressor.
