Versatemps

Hi,
Has anyone any information on versatemp fault codes, ideally the meaning behind F1 & F2 codes on model types VM2/S & VM3 (old systems running on R22)

Hi all,
Talking about Versatemp. units. We are looking after many versatemp. units in a large building. What puzzles me is that we can have two units next to each other, on the same cond. water line at the same temp. but each unit has a different cooling/ heating capacity.
Gas charge is OK in both units, comps seems OK. Running amps OK, pressures the same on each unit.
Any one got experience with these units and can give any advise as to why they are different ?

different size units? How are you measuring this difference ??

post more info model no/s rating, compressor amps etc

I have done many versatemps systems over the years and most problems are water (flow) related..

Here is some data from these units,
model EQV2024 R22
inlet water 23.9C
outlet water 26.8C
comp. amps 2.8 / 3A
dish. 165psig
suct 73psig
cooling mode
condenser water is 2 pipe system with temp. control from pump room.

all units are the same model, made in 1995.

on those figures I would check the compressor for pumping efficiency

73 psig on R22 means an evaporating pressure of 7 deg's C

I would look for 60ish psig on the suction and 200+ on the discharge

and I think the running amps should be nearer 6-10 if it's a 24k btu
