Fujitsu Remote Quick Question

Hi Guys,

Have a client who requires a replacement AR-DL7 infra red remote for R22 5kw compact cassette.

Does anyone know if all the AR-DL remotes are compatible as they all look identical. He is looking at buying an AR-DL1 or AR-DL3 from ebay.

I came across this in my last job.

Can't give a definitive answer but from memory some of the DL's (1?) was cooling only. I've been told that other models may work but you may find certain functions don't work such as mode or fan speed as there was no standard code for the functions.
Some remotes are obselete, some an obsene price and others have a superseded part.

The best official answer I could ever get is that you should use whatever is listed. Other than that there is no offical info on what may or may not work so you then enter into experimentation and possibly a world of pain. On the other hand it may work and you end up a hero!

What was the model number of the cassette?
