It depends on who you ask.

It all depends on what you are looking for. Daikin are good but some do have faults . But they have a 5 year warrenty and after sale service is great

I'd say Mitsubishi electric without a doubt, much easier for the service engineer to work on IMO.:D

mitsi units are well designed but indoors are a lil bulkier than daikins- if its relaibility then imi cux and marstair hilo range - used to get 20 yr outta them!

What about the Fujitsu?

Don't like the way Fujitsu are building their ducteds - like Daikin with the boards upside down.
Probably easier to get the meters on for diagnosis, but a right pain to change the boards. And I doubt upside down boards do anything to combat the gecko issue.
Admittedly that's based on the only new Fujitsu ducted I've worked on recently.
Mitsi Electric seem fairly good. Some wall mounts have sliding catches on the vanes which makes it much easier to remove them for cleaning.
Any wall mount that has the fan shaft screw in the control side gets a serious down vote from me.
I reckon those design sods should be made to work in the field before they're allowed to design anything.

Mitsubishi is bigger than any others. Yes, size matters.
