hello , i need some imfo on vectors the good bad and anything really ! is it worth getting contract maint on a unit plugged in on constant s by at -20 appreciate replies :)

the french made 1800 vectors seem to be OK. I wouldn't go contract maintenance as there isn't much to maintain with it running on electric.

all there going to do is turn up and put it thru a pretrip.

the american made vectors the high capacity 6500 and 6600mt are giving all sorts of dramas, but you probably don't see them.

I would check all the contactors they can fall apart when used on the road,so if yours has had previous road use check them out,the usual keep the condensor clean,run the engine weekly just in case the power fails,and secure the panel so no idiot can turn off or change temperature,but they do work well on electric.
