Hi Guys
I got this chart from work in a heap. looks an important piece of informaation but don't know how to interpret it or understand it. like how to make selection of orifaces and txvales for any system. what are the basic steps of selecting txvalves and orifaces for system by using catalog from suppliers etc.

Thanks

Before you choose the TXV, there is a lot of info you need to know:
Refrigerant in the system.
Evaporating temp.
Condensing temp.
Pressure drop on the TXV.
Flooded evaporator or not.
With MOP or without.
etc. etc.

Once you have gathered all the required info, it is time to mach the right TXV.

ya it is a long process and no attention should be left unattended. correction factors and such but usualy if you follow the course they give on the catalog you will end up with a tolerable system that will opperate mostly as expected.
