Strange on

Hi Guys Got a capital cooling cabinet, had new evaporator, all rebuilt how it came apart, both evaporator fans run, with deck plate and air on grill removed, case runs down to temp lovely, fit the air on grill and deck plate as it should, no air flow from air off grills, temp goes up, lift the deck plate by 15mm cabinet works lovely. Now do the fans need a certain distance clear from obstruction, to allow blade to move air, i'm puzzled by this one. Any idea's ???? J.J.

Ive seen that from a replacement fan motor that was 1/2" taller the the OEM. The Fan Blade was almost hitting the bottom of the deck pan. I had to locate a motor the same height as the OEM. The return was getting choked. Sounds like you have possably have a similar situation.

whats the model of the case its a Jupiter 14

sorry I`ve never seen that model,all the ones ive ever worked on had fans vertical at the back of the case

Sounds like fan deck is in at wrong angle or the fan blades are backwards?
