How do you guys calculate superheat?Heard a few different versions?

Read the saturation temperature, based on the pressure.
Read the temperature on the thermometer
Calculate the difference between temperature and the saturation temperature and you will get the superheat.

The measure shall be on the same point.

The pressure loss on the circuit decreases the pressure so also the saturated temperature which also contributes to the superheat increase.

As above, and if you take all your readings in degrees Celsius you will get your result in Kelvin (K) which is what normally is on the specifications from the manufacturers.
(1 Degree C change = 1 K change but as Kelvin's scale starts at "absolute zero" whilst Celsius' scale starts at the freezing point of water, for absolute values K = °C + 273.15 )
