Hi .. Was working today on a split puhz-p125vha2 ...there is reports that unit not working .. I couldn't get into shop as hey didn't turn up but got to outdoor .. Checked a few things .. Was checking comp singke phase run/common 1.0 ..start to common 0.7 ..run to start 0.8 .. Now as I see it the two lower values should add up to the higher .. Which it hasn't ?? Everything else on comp checked out ok .. Used meggar too .. This was. Ok

The supply to the outdoor unit is 1ph but the compressor is inverter driven and therefore 3ph...

its inverter - no common/start/run winding- just u v w all should be equal- did u disconnect the wires before testing?
u need to see the fault code inside
if its on a par 21 controller (hard wired) then u can read sensor values,running current,run hours,starts and get a good idea whats happening

You sure that's inverter driven .. Tiny little comp and the cap on terminals had r s c symbols ?? Identification label said single phase .. Yep disconnected all wires ..

This one I worked on only had the one Pcb at top .. Nothing like a inverter Pcb there .. Positive .. Nothing like the one in ur pic

puh units old mr slims on r407c ,r22 had 8 led's on outdoor pcb - permantly lit-output status- press sw2 and a flashing light indicated outdoor fault
or a green and a red led- different flash sequences showed up the fault
puhz units single phase have 2 more pcbs behind comms pcb- noise filter, inverter board-u have to take the top lid off to see em.
usually u can see the reactor-looks like a transformer above comp-

Well in that case the windings were a liitle out for 3 phase then not much but not equal

haha- used to do pizza huts and they were bad- had to clean filters in kitchen with the oven cleaning gel they use- leave to soak for 20 mins then get it under the potwash squirty tap- managers wernt happy but it was the only thing that shifted it

I tried that in a Pizza hut on the foam filter jobbie that sat infront of the coil on the prover. Whole lot got eaten away so not sure what was in that cleaner. Cleaned the crud from under my nails a treat though.

PUHZ-P is Standard Inverter not Power Inverter (PUHZ-RP or PUHZ-ZRP from 2013)

The pic with the 2x single fan o/door units are 10kw standard inverters, the 10kw power is twin fan.
