Hello all, our company is installing our first mini split system and we are told in the install guide to pressure test at 600 PSI for 24 hours, seems a little extreme, anyways I am wondering on the best way to connect to pressurize the system, we purchased a yellow jacket core removal tool setup which makes it easy to evacuate and connect a micron gauge, but I am wondering on the best possible way to also connect the nitrogen to be able to break the vacuum with it without having to switch the hose back and forth from the vacuum pump. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Tom

The 600psi is correct assuming that the refrigerant is R410a and you are performing a strength test.

As the strength test is done before the evacuation the procedure would be the perform the test, then release the nitrogen to atmospheric before connecting the vacuum pump.
