Hi Fridgie,

I worked out in Dubai around ten years ago and loved it. Aim for a managers job, as all the tool work is done by Indians, Philipinos etc.

Dubai has become very expensive of late and expect your company to provide a villa, car, water, electricity and any taxes, what you earn is what goes in to your pocket. Aim to work for a European, American, Oz or NZ managed company, there are jobs advertised in the English speaking papers the Gulf News or the Kaleej Times which are available on line

Good luck

dear
i was in dubai in 2001 , the best way to have a job there is:
put advertise on the newspaper gulfnews,,asking for job ,,,repeat that advertisment frequently every 3 days,,so many will contact you offering you to have a job
most of companies prefer europian , american, austeralians ,,,etc
there is job for you in hotels , that dubai is filled of it
good luck
