Hey Felas

Ive got heating problem on this apac drc unit. seems to blow cold air on startup after off cycle or defrost. Any ideas? Yes the fan is set to cycle off at setpoint to.

for how long? it takes a while for the coil to heat up....

the way apacs are set up, it will cycle the indoor fan with the compressor on heating mode, so when the compressor starts, the fan will start, and the indoor coil doesnt heat up instantly....

some brands will have a pcb in the indoor unit that will have a sensor on the indoor coil, so it wont run the indoor fan until the coil gets warm. what sort of controller have you got?

u could always get something retrofitted onto it that will do the job, like a hanwest controller, but it depends how much it is worth to you....
