Hi,

I have recently been thrown into the cascade arena, and I am learning quickly. I have a problem with a Espec Thermal Shock Chamber.

The unit pulls down to -75, but takes a little to long, about an hour.. When I set the machine to cycle between -65 and 160, It cant keep up. It wont reach temp quick enough to allow any soak time. The charges have all been triple verified, so I am at a loss. Any suggestions?

Thx

Well to give us a chance, running data could be useful...

1st stage suction pressure/discharge pressure/subcooling/superheat?
2nd stage suction pressure/discharge pressure/subcooling/superheat?

Ambient temp?

How long did the unit take to pull down originally? Unless you know that you may find that the client is getting you to chase your tail.

Ya the colder you go the longer it takes, or the gear becomes really big! So less it is pulling more power then a third world nation I'd bank on an hour or more for pull down.
