Would like advice and comments on the use and success of System leak sealants.

We have a heat pump system operating on 410a; it has now been operating over 5 years successfully. There seems to have developed a small leak in an inaccessible place. Have thought that possibly a leak sealant would solve problem. Would like to hear from anybody who has experience on using leak sealants and what the results were.

define -inacessible- on the unit or hidden pipework

pressure test each line individually to see which leaks, then is it possible to split the pipework to only replace a short section?
