Hi all! I've recently been working on a fairly old air Weatherite air handler. The unit has a Saginomiya condenser fan speed controller on the unit. The unit only has two wires connected inside and earth. I cant seem to find any literature on the controller (probs cos its so old!) it is a
L1A4?? Anyone have any idea on how the unit controls speed??

Thanks in advance

Craig

That looks like an updated version! This one I have is well old:), im gathering that this just regulates the voltage fed to the motor unit?

Cheers!

Yeah it aims to keep a reasonably constant head pressure by speeding up or slowing down the fan. Much better than the alco ones imo!
