Refrigeration Duty

Hi Guys,

I am new to refrigeration and don't have much info on it.

I was going through a book and I dont understand the term "Refrigeration Duty".

Can anybody explain what does refrigeration duty mean?

The capacity of the system which means the amount of heat energy it can remove.

I all ways took that as the designed run time, 2,4,8, houre duty cycle as an example, we all ready have a capaqcity measure in btu's
