i work in steam power plant
and the pollution rate is very hi

Wow!! makes you wonder why we bother with a little carbon reduction you are throwing chunks into the sky.

If oil fired, the injectors are over injecting and need replacing or air ratios are too low, if coal fired.. feed rate too high and fire bed too thick, or air ratios wrong, if getting a lot of clinker in ash, low grade coal.

this pollution happen every day and take about 1 hour to finsh
then the it be more cleaner
i asked some of the engineer in the power plant
why they not treat with this problem
they answered me
(before the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait
we used fuel addition which make the carbon and soot
very little
after the invasion
these addition were prohibited due to mass destruction program )

we have sunny days most of the year
and temperature reached 46 C yesterday
