I have an American style fridge. As soon as I plug it I'm and turn it on it trips the 30a breaker in the distribution board. Iv checked the fuse in the fridge and it's fine. Can anyone help me with this problem.

is it rcd tripping or just a mcb - easiest option is disconnect compressor and plug it in,see if it trips, u say the fuse is ok so could the ringmain be overloaded?
