I have doubts about R401A table below:

http://mrmech.com/technical-references/refrigerant-info-and-properties/pressure-temperature-charts-refrigerant/r12-r134a-r401a-r401b

For example: For R12 at -15 degrees celsius I have 11.8PSI in sucction line.

I confuse because the table has 2 columns for the same refrigerant.

So what what be the correct equivalent for R401A, 16 ir 10 PSI ?

Moises,

R401a is a Zeotropic blend, the components in it boils off at different temperatures/pressures.

Therefore the pressure will depend on if the refrigerant is in it's liquid phase or in it's gas phase. In your example above where you are looking at a suction line you therefore need to read the vapor pressure.

Thank you. So, is it correct to calculate the subcooling by the liquid column of the table and superheat by the gas column ?
