Carrier Stealth, won't cycle on/off

I'm trying to help a friend with his Carrier Stealth.

The unit is set for On/Off operation but won't cycle correctly. It'll pull down below the set point, go into heat mode, warm up the box before repeating the cycle.

From the controls, it will seeming correctly set for either Continuous or On/Off but the unit runs continuously.

Any idea where to start?

Are there any electronic copies of the operators or setup manual?

im not sure what a stealth is but check amp draw, battery voltage and water temp. make sure no sensors are reading out of calibration

I'll start there, when I cycled through the system the other day, nothing seemed amiss, but I'll take a more thorough look. I know there were no error codes, the water temp and voltage readings were good but I don't recall the amperage reading (if any).

I normally do light industrial refrigeration, the controls on the handful of transport refrigeration I've looked at are pretty much black boxes that do "magic" from my point of view. I know what "magic" they do, just don't know to troubleshoot inside the black box.

try a new battery, its usually the cause.
