I am unable to decide between Mitsubishi Mr Slim MS-G18VC and Daikin FT50-MV16 for installation in New Delhi. Both the units are made in Thailand. My main criteria is cooling temperature and fan noise. Any advice on which is a better make and which would offer better cooling. Thanks.

Functions & Features
The Daikin FT-M series AC is equipped with advanced features such as programme dry function, auto-restart after power failure and self-diagnosis feature. This air-conditioner boasts of the inverter control feature to enhance the cooling

usually mitsi indoor units are a bit bulkier, daikins can have issues with pcb's after a few years, if both physically the same price and spec and availability, then its up to you

Can't fail either way, go for the cheapest!

Are you looking for a cassette or wall mount, because we have a few problems ,with fan motors on Mitsubishi wall mount units, fans heating up taking out the pcb then you find the bracket holder for fan motor starts to break due to getting hot ,

Wall mount. I went in for the Daikin machine but the first one failed as explained in a separate thread "Daikin has quality issues in India" The unit was replaced but the cooling is below average. I guess we are at a stage in global manufacturing where quality has descended to its darkest depths in everything. I long for "Made in Japan" quality but everything now seems to be made in China.
