Found this on a fruit farm, was bought secondhand in the 70's! Don't know if it would still run but would be fun to find out :D

wrights air con (now atlas wrights )used to use heating solder on there joints, and run suction and liq together and side 3 inch armaflex over it all- ripped out kit that had been in for 30 yr, but never seen joints butted up and joined

Thats a 3HP unit the largest twin cylinder unit Frigidaire made.
They also made a tandem with the motor in the middle and a compressor on each side.
Later they made a four cylinder model (in Line)
Installed and serviced loads they went on forever.

If you have the serial number that will give you the age of the unit, the first 2 digits indicate the date they are in reverse order ie 56--------- for 1965

I'll have a look next time i go there! I remember seeing a two compressor model with the motor in the middle in a dairy in London somewhere, probably in the early 90's. Scared me just o look at it!
