Hi,

Greetings and I am new here, previously I work as Industrial Automation and Electrical Engineer but now im moving into HVAC field. This is completely new for me.

I am now working in a project of HVAC, Here some of the calculation i've done ;

OAHU-1
154800 Kcal/H
10500 CMH
516 L/min

AHU-1
16340 Kcal/H
14500 CMH
54.5 L/min

AHU-2
26660 Kcal/H
13300 CMH
89 L/min

I have found the formula to convert Kcal/H to kW
for example AHU-1
16340 / 5 = 3668
then
3668 / 60 = 54.5 kW (but this is not Electrical Motor Power Consumption)

How to calculate the estimation of Electrical motor Power Consumption (kW) ?

Thank you

16340 Kcal/H = 19Kw, not 54.5kW
http://www.convertworld.com/en/power/

The electrical motor power consumption will be 19Kw * 3.41214 / EER
For example, if the EER = 11 then the consumption in this example will be 5.9kW
