help with atlas copco compressor

hi
anyone help us us with atlas GX5aircompressor,seems to be running ok when on site pressure switch opperating off 10 bar on 8 bar seems ok what happens is customer says unit runs and will suddenly show no pressure and staysoff for few hours and just starts again , nobody touching unit and no high temp warning light coming on.

What type of controller its on compressor, Elektrinikon or is a standard one? If its Elektronikon, maybe someone has activated timer function. More info needed for diagnostic.

As dorinspeedy says it could be the elektronikon or is there a remote controller with a timer, BMS etc.

If its GX series than it must be having mechanical pressure switch instead of electonikon, here either your pressure switch is malfunctioning, means its not giving on command (control voltage ) to coil or may be your solenoid coil plunger is stucking, If your pressure switch and solenoid coil plunger are OK than there must be some leakage ( some exhaust valve stucking) in air line, which you have to check thoroughly.
