I have this old ice machine forever and just not cold enough to make ice anymore. It uses r-502. I just need it to get through this summer. what can i use as a temporary refridgerant with no modifications until i can buy a new unit? thanks

Is it for domestic or commercial use?

Might work out cheaper to just buy it ready frozen till you budget allows for a new ice maker.
Can't really recommend any R502 substitutes as we don't get the same refrigerants in the UK. (the refrigerant i last used as a drop in for R502 has also since been banned here , but haven't worked on any R502 stuff for 8 or 9 years...)
