new guy need help with carrier unit

hi,i am new here but i really need some help.
i have a problem with carrier ultra xtc unit.
the problem is when the unit is running start/stop mode and reach setpoint, it is cutting of,but the actual box temp. aprox.10-12 deg. higher.
exm. set temp 0 deg ,unit cut of 0 deg.,but actually the box temp 12 deg

Sounds like the sensor is out of calibration, out of it's correct position, covered by something insulting. Or the sensor is fine & the controller is set wrong or faulty.

Can't help further than that as I don't know the equipment.

put the sensor in the return air duct and see what happens , any what type of thermostat is it.

sometimes the unit not cutting of just start heating then cooling few times before cutting of.
it can be related to a same problem?
it is running on the old 03.03.00 software
it can be also a problem?
