How can I increase suction pressure during harvest (defrost)? The story is long and I got the maker to run fine, but still have a 48psi suction during harvest. At this point I feel uncomfortable to write the guy a bill, even though I spent over $900 in parts and 5hr labor. Harvest takes 6 minutes, I adjusted timer to go 120 sec. after termistor sends the all clear, so it totals 6 minutes, I know it all seems right, but with a 48 psi suction? the evap doesn't get warm fast...I just don't like it. harvest valve is not restricted, same temp from the compressor discharge to the evap...WTF? I need it a little hotter, lol
BTW, the system calls for 11.5 lb 404a, I ended up with 14 lb, remote air cooled.
