Sound Attenuator Sizing

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how to size a Sound Attenuator for a particular duct / AC unit?

Sound attenuation is an art (or sometimes even a science) all to itself.

Unfortunately there is no "one will fit all" solution and the best option is to enlist an acoustic consultant to design bespoke solutions suitable for both the equipment and for the site.

I always approach the manufacturers as they have all the technical knowledge required for the task.

Some sizing info here and from a Dubai source, so perhaps a phone call would be a wise option.
