Hi all,
Spent a few minutes looking at the above condenser and its indoor(PLA-RP71BA) yesterday. The indoor was struggling to reach temperature. The outdoor was running but the compressor would only run for approx 2 mins, at 110 psi, drawing 3.5 amps and then cut out. The condenser fan stayed running and after another 2 mins or so the compressor would come back on but only for 2 mins or so again. Also, in test cooling mode, the compressor will only run at its slowest speed, drawing 2 amps? I've checked the voltage on the compressor leads in test mode and measured equal voltage, to rule out an imbalance. The unit is rated for 12 amps, so over current isn't an issue. Anybody have any other ideas before I go back to site on Tuesday?
Cheers,
Paul
