hi
i received a window type ac
i red the name plate
and i surprised that the cooling capacity measured in BTU
and heating capacity is in kw instead of btu
10173
why ???????????
the ac is not heat-pump
its heated by electric heater

Electric heater input/output is measured in Watts.

If you bought an electric light bulb would you ask for a 100 watt bulb or a 341 btu/h bulb?

Heck, if you bought a 100w bulb over here they'd arrest you for being an envronmental terrorist.
