Hi,

I have one problem and I need an explanation from an expert.

I have LAEIA oil cooler ( it is a component of Fanuc CNC Machine) and a compressor in that cooler is ASPERA NE9213GK for R 404 A.
I have a label with tech data on cooler and this label says R 410A-0.97 kg.

Question is: can I put R410A in that sistem, can I do any damage to compressor?

Unfortunately, I can't be sure that someone did not repair this cooler before and put this compressor in, I dont have any tech data from cooler.

Cooler is applied to cool down oil that is used to keep piece of metal on 22 C during processing on CNC machine.

Oil pump has a capacity of 10-37 lit/min, the cooler is set to keep 22 C for outgoing oil.
The temperature for ingoing oil is in range from 27 to 35 C (depending on load of CNC machine).

If you have any question I will try to answer.
Please help.

With regards,
Klima

No, you cant do that.

You cannot put R410A in compressor which is not designed for R410A, simply because of higher pressures of R410A gas, both in working and in standstill periods.

If the system is originally designed for R410A, than you should find original compressor, and fit it in place of current one, and than you could charge R410A.

check the gaugepoints- if 5 /16 then 410 should be in the system,if 1/4 then 404a, also check the expansion valve head for info, maybe wrong compressor type fitted

Sistem dont have expansion valve, gaugepoints are 1/4.
My first suspicion was that wrong compressor type is fitted (or wrong label on cooler) but i will rather ask than burn compressor.
Thank you for fast replay

last resort contact the manufacturer and get a parts list
