Split unit with dual evaporators

Hi

A client of mine got a Samsung split unit with dual evaporators. He does not need the one evaporator any more and want it to be removed. i closed the valves on the side that he wants to be removed and the other one was working fine. As soon as i removed the wiring the condenser fails to start. The "a-unit" wiring is still in tact, but the condenser only comes on for about a second or two and the kicks off, whilst an error message comes up at the evaporator.

Any one here that can help me?

Without model numbers it is hard to be precise but it sounds like the unit needs to be 'reprogrammed' with the fact that there is only one evaporator unit.
