York chiller issues

Chaps we look after a 100kw York chiller and we are having a number of issues. The latest is condenser fan failures.

This chiller has 3 fans on a single FSC. 2 weeks ago we lost one fan and now we have lost another. The sieze and overheat causing a trip. When we get there they are hard to turn...

S&P who make them for York suggest a 6 week delay on delivery!

Three fans on one FSC seems a bit risky to me.

Hard to turn would indicate bearings to me, generally from water ingress, strip them out and replace bearings. Quicker than six weeks
